Restrepiella (reh-strep-ee-EL-ah) consists of a single species, Restrepiella ophiocephala, from Mexico to Costa Rica. Though named for its similarity to Restrepia, the species looks more like a Pleurothallis with large, thick leaves and a fascicle of single, successive flowers that are fleshy and fuzzy. Restrepiella hirsutissima (C.Schweinf.) Garay & Dunst. = Dresslerella hirsutissima
