Megema macrura  (Rchb.f.) Luer

From the Greek makrura, "large- or long-tailed", in reference to the huge sepaline tails.

Additional Information:  Infrequent in Colombia at altitudes of around 8,500 feet (2,600 m).  The flowers are the largest in the genus.  Some have been measured up to 15 inches from tip to tip of the sepaline tails.
