Alaticaulia tovarensis  (Rchb.f.) Luer

Named for the German colony of Tovar in northern Venezuela where the species was discovered.

Additional Information:  Endemic and still locally abundant in the coastal range of Venezuela at altitudes ranging from 6,000 feet (1,830 m) to 7,200 feet (2,200 m).
