Other Information:  M. Pat McCauley seems to have taken most of its color from M. papillosa with the darker center.  The shape is a little more cupped - most likely from M. glandulosa.  It will be interesting to see how other seedlings of this cross bloom out.

Pat is the Nebraska coordinator of our Airedale rescue organization.  She has a big heart for these dogs and is great at organizing the volunteers in her state.  Pat is soft spoken, thus the small size of this flower.  However, the color indicates that she is not afraid to be bold whenever she feels passionate about something.
