Additional Information:  The flowers of this cross have been interesting.  They do not have the heavy, waxy substance of M. peristeria.  They seem to take more after the M. glandulosa parent except that the color is washed out with magenta hairs instead of glands.  In one case, a flower was yellow with fine yellow hairs and no hint at all of the bright color from M. glandulosa.
