Alaticaulia garciae  (Luer) Luer

Named in honor of Sr. Carlos Garcia of Caracas, Venezuela, who discovered this species.

Additional Information:  Is endemic to the coastal mountain range of Venezuela at around 4,000 feet (1,200 m).

Just a note - the above photos are flowers from the same plant.  The ones on the left bloomed in the greenhouse.  The ones on the right bloomed under lights.
