Alaticaulia don-quijote  (Luer & Andreetta) Luer

Named for the fancied appearance of the flower with its forward-pointing dorsal resembling the lance and the lateral sepals resembling the bowed legs of a horseman.

Additional Information:  Rare and apparently endemic in the moist, primary forests of southeastern Ecuador at altitudes ranging from 3,280 feet (1,000 m) to 4,920 feet (1,500 m).
