Alaticaulia brachyura  (Lehm. & Kraenzl.) Luer

From the Greek brachys, "short", and ura, "tail", in reference to the sepaline tails.

Additional Information:  Apparently endemic in the humid forests of the eastern slopes of the Andes in southern Ecuador at altitudes ranging from 4,750 feet (1,450 m) to 5,900 feet (1,800 m).
