Additional Information:  The M. mejiana parent has given this flower a "glow" that almost makes it look lit up from behind.  It also seems to have stiffer caudae.  Most of the M. Kimballiana seem to have reflexed caudae.  The form seems to resemble the M. veitchiana parent of M. Kimballiana.
