The genus Areldia (ah-REHL-dee-uh) is a new genus consisting of one species that used to belong to the genus Pleurothallis, subgenus Dresslera.  This one species has no close relatives and forms dense mats of branching ramicauls and tiny, round, striped leaves.  The flower is twice to four times larger than the leaf.
