Alaticaulia odontopetala  (Luer) Luer

From the Greek odontopetalon, "a toothed petal," referring to the descending tooth at the base of the petals.

Additional Information:  Uncommon species apparently endemic to the forested slopes east of Cuenca in Ecuador at altitudes of around 5,900 feet (1,800 m) to 7,220 feet (2,200 m).
