Additional Information:  Widely distributed from the warm lowlands of the Guianas and northern Brazil along the lower slopes of the Andes in the upper Amazon valley into Ecuador and northern Peru at altitudes of 330 feet (100 m) to 4,920 feet (1,500 m).
