Acronia teaguei  (Luer) Luer 

Named in honor of Walter Teague of San Francisco, CA, who collected this species.

Additional Information:  Apparently endemic in northwestern Ecuador at altitudes of around 5,080 feet (1,550 m).  This is a large flower and plant for the genus.
