Acronia phyllocardioides  (Schltr,) Luer

Named for a fancied resemblance to Pleurothallis phyllocardia Rchb.f., a much larger plant with much larger flowers.

Additional Information:  This is a species complex that is frequent and widely distributed in Central America from Guatemala through Panama and throughout the Andes at altitudes of 650 feet (200 m) to 9,020 feet (2,750 m).
