Additional Information:  Species complex that is frequent and variable in its wide distribution from the coastal range of Venezuela through all three cordilleras of Colombia and south through the Andes of Ecuador, Bolivia and Peru at altitudes of 1,970 feet (600 m) to 9,840 feet (3,000 m).
